Vixen SXP Equatorial Mount
Features of SXP Equatorial Mount
Comes as standard with all-in-one STAR BOOK TEN which is the new generation of handheld controller with high-definition LCD screen for user-friendliness beyond compare.
Incorporates pulse motors with high response to signals and ease of precise control. Vixen\'s micro-step motion control makes the rotation of the motors very accurate and smooth.
The R.A. and DEC wheels have 180 teeth and 72mm in diameter. High-precision NC machined wheels and worm gears made of brass for the most accurate possible tracking.
The R.A. and DEC shafts are made of strong carbon steel. The rotational parts of the SXP mount have 15 bearing pieces. This provides extremely smooth motion for tracking and slewing to the target object.
A unique structure of the Sphinx declination body acting as part of a counterweight is succeeded. A highly portable equatorial mount which has high payload capacity, rigidness and ease of operation.
Periodic error corrections you made are saved and retained for improvement if you turn off the power.
The function of Cross over Meridian allows you to change the timing of the reverse motion of the optical tube. It is a convenient feature if photographing an object in the culmination.
