Payment Methods
We accept VISA/MASTER credit card payments via NETS and also via PayPal. Please visit www.paypal.com for more information. We also accept local bank cheques and funds telegraphic transfers to our bank. Should you require an alternative payment method please contact Astro our e-mail at sales@astro.com.sg
Taxes, Tariffs and Duties
All international shipments will require the customer to pay any and all import taxes, duties and tariffs as required by the destination country and any transit points. Any and all relevant local laws must be complied with as well as any customs regulations.
When the Items Arrive
Where required the items must be signed for by an authorised person upon arrival at their final destination. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to examine the items received to ensure that all of the items have arrived correctly and undamaged. Should there be an issue with ether the quantity or any damage to items please see the What to do if you receive merchandise damaged during shipment section below.
Return Policy
Returns are only permitted when you received a defective product or the product was damaged during shipment. Local customers can call or e-mail us to resolve returns easily. For customers outside of Singapore, please review our return policy below. See also our policy on our Warranty. First call, fax or e-mail Astro Scientific Centre Pte Ltd to notify us about the specific nature of the defect. ASTRO SCIENTIFIC CENTRE PTE LTD will then issue you a RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number. Returns without a RMA number issued by Astro Scientific Centre Pte Ltd will not be accepted. The product must be returned in new condition, complete with all accessories and manuals in its original packaging and with all warranty cards if any unfilled. Any merchandise returned is subject to a 5% restocking fee to cover our return processing, credit card fees, packing and administrative cost etc. If the merchandise does not arrive in like new condition, it may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
If there are missing parts, packaging, instructions, warranty cards or damage to the merchandise, ASTRO SCIENTIFIC CENTRE PTE LTD reserve the right to impose higher restocking fees or reject the return outright. Restocking fees rate or rejection of merchandise will be determined by Astro Scientific Centre Pte Ltd after inspecting the merchandise at its sole discretion. When returning merchandise, do not write the RMA number or affix any labels or writing on the original product boxes! Use a shipping carton to contain the original product boxes and affix labels and RMA number on this shipping carton. The RMA number must be located on the return shipping label on the shipping carton. To protect yourself, please ensure that the return merchandise is adequately packaged, freight prepaid and insured for the full purchase price.
ASTRO SCIENTIFIC CENTRE PTE LTD cannot accept freight collect returns or be held responsible in the event of lost or damaged returned packages. For returns to be accepted, notification of product defect must be made within seven (7) days from receipt of merchandise. ASTRO SCIENTIFIC CENTRE PTE LTD will work with customers on any returns but will not accept any returns after seven (7) days has elapsed from receipt of merchandise without prior notification. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges of return merchandise. Upon receipt of the returned defective merchandise by ASTRO SCIENTIFIC CENTRE PTE LTD, it will be at ASTRO SCIENTIFIC CENTRE PTE LTD’s sole discretion to exchange, replace or repair the defective goods before returning it to customer. No refunds are allowed.
In the unlikely event a merchandise is irreplaceable or cannot be repaired for whatsoever reason, we will as far as possible propose an equivalent replacement for your acceptance. Failing which a refund may be authorized. Note however that a 5% processing fee will be imposed and deducted to cover credit card and return processing cost.
